Groundwork & Float Training

Do you have a young horse who needs to learn the basics before breaking in starts?

I am offering to teach your horse all about leading, lunging, float training, ground manners, learning to accept weight on their back (covers, tack, etc.), showing them any 'scary stuff' and breaking bad habits.

 

We have recently just brought a 'Pessoa Lunging System' which is used to encourage the horse to work in a relaxed frame by asking its head low whilst encouraging the horse to move forward to achieve a nice outline. Before this, I was using side reins (shown on the left), however I was unsatisfied with the results I was getting from these. The horses would either work with their heads up, or not moving forward enough, so I went searching for something new. We are seeing big results from using the Pessoa system and plan to continue using it with all young, green, and experienced horses as apart of their schooling. Pictures of this system in use to come!
